IcePulse Fitness respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information IcePulse Fitness collects, how it is used, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you when using the IcePulse Fitness iPhone and Apple Watch applications (the “App”).
Information We Collect
IcePulse Fitness collects only the information needed to provide its hockey performance and training features:
- Account information: Your email address is collected when you create an account or sign in.
- Hockey session data: When you choose to record a hockey session, the App may collect hockey-specific fitness and performance information such as session duration, distance, speed, heart rate, ice time, shifts, goals, assists, notes, tags, and related performance metrics.
- Training-plan data: The App stores the fitness and hockey skill plans, exercises, drills, progress, ratings, and related information you create or record in IcePulse Fitness.
- Video submissions: If you choose an AI sports-analysis feature, the video you select is sent to a third-party analysis provider to perform the analysis you request.
Apple Health and Fitness Data
With your explicit permission, IcePulse Fitness may connect to Apple Health, Apple Fitness, and Apple Watch data to support hockey session recording and training features. You control these permissions through iOS and watchOS.
IcePulse Fitness stores only hockey-specific session recordings and training-plan information in its databases. Other Apple Health data is not uploaded to IcePulse Fitness databases.
Health and fitness information accessed through Apple Health is used only to provide the App’s health, fitness, hockey tracking, and performance-analysis features. IcePulse Fitness does not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing profiles, data brokerage, or sale.
On-Device Intelligence
Some App features may use Apple Intelligence or other on-device processing. When processing occurs on your device, the relevant information remains on your device and is not sent to IcePulse Fitness solely for that on-device processing.
How We Use Information
IcePulse Fitness uses the information described above to:
- Create and maintain your account.
- Record, display, sync, and analyze your hockey sessions.
- Provide training plans, progress tracking, performance insights, and related App features.
- Perform AI sports analysis when you choose to submit a video for analysis.
- Maintain the security, reliability, and operation of the App.
- Respond to support requests and communicate about your account or the App.
When Information Is Shared
IcePulse Fitness does not provide social, community, public-profile, or user-sharing features. Your hockey performance data is not made public through the App.
Video is shared with a third-party AI sports-analysis provider only when you choose to use an AI sports-analysis feature and submit a video for that purpose. The provider processes the video to deliver the requested analysis.
IcePulse Fitness may also use service providers that help operate its infrastructure, such as secure hosting, database, authentication, and support services. These providers may access information only as needed to provide their services to IcePulse Fitness.
Information may be disclosed where required by law, to protect users or the App, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
Your Choices and Controls
- Health permissions: You can grant, change, or revoke Apple Health permissions at any time in the Health app or your device settings.
- Video analysis: AI sports analysis is optional. Do not submit a video if you do not want it shared with the applicable analysis provider.
- Account deletion: You can initiate deletion of your IcePulse Fitness account and associated data from within the App’s account or settings area.

Data Retention and Deletion
IcePulse Fitness retains your account information and hockey-related App data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the App. When you request account deletion, IcePulse Fitness will delete your account and associated personal data, except where retention is required or permitted by applicable law, needed to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or maintain security and fraud-prevention records.
Videos submitted to a third-party AI sports-analysis provider may be handled according to that provider’s applicable retention practices. IcePulse Fitness will make reasonable efforts to ensure that service providers process information only for the services requested.
Security
IcePulse Fitness uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No internet-based service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so users should also protect their account credentials and device access.
Children’s Privacy
IcePulse Fitness is not directed to children under the age at which parental consent is required under applicable privacy law. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so the information can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The “Last updated” date above indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of IcePulse Fitness after an update means the updated policy applies to your use of the App.
